Ordinary dental clinics can only offer local anaesthesia (i.e. an anaesthetic injection), whereas a licensed DPC can additionally arrange moderate to deep sedation — suitable for patients with dental anxiety, highly anxious children, patients with special needs, or cases requiring lengthy or multiple treatments in a single visit. Where general anaesthesia is genuinely required, our resident specialist will refer the patient to a private hospital for the procedure, and our specialist team here at Home Dental Centre will continue to manage all post-operative care — so you never have to coordinate between multiple providers on your own. Throughout the entire process, the patient's vital signs are monitored by qualified anaesthesia professionals.

Yes. For children who are extremely anxious, younger in age, have special needs, or require multiple cavities to be treated at the same time, Home Dental Centre's Tsuen Wan licensed Dental Day Procedure Centre (DPC) can arrange paediatric dental sedation, with continuous monitoring by a specialist anaesthetist throughout. If general anaesthesia is required, the paediatric dentist will refer the child to a partner private hospital, and our centre will continue to provide post-operative follow-up care. Prior to treatment, the paediatric dentist will conduct a clinical assessment and discuss the anaesthesia plan, pre- and post-operative instructions, and associated risks with the parents. Parents are welcome to accompany their child, and the child will rest in our recovery area until fully awake before being discharged.

Yes. The Tsuen Wan clinic reserves same-day emergency slots every day, including Saturdays, Sundays and most public holidays. If you experience a sudden toothache, chipped tooth, lost filling or crown, swollen gums, severe wisdom teeth pain, or similar issues, please call 3956 9387 or WhatsApp 5402 6630 to notify the clinic right away. For cases involving serious trauma — such as a displaced tooth or jaw injury caused by an accident — our Home Dental Centre oral and maxillofacial surgery team can provide urgent follow-up at the Tsuen Wan Day Procedure Centre.

Home Dental Centre (Tsuen Wan Clinic) is located at Room 2010, 20/F, KOLOUR Tsuen Wan I, 68 Chung On Street. It is approximately a ten-minute walk from MTR Tsuen Wan Station Exit B2 via the covered footbridge; alternatively, it is also easily accessible on foot from Tsuen Wan West Station (Tuen Ma Line) Exit A4. Once you arrive at KOLOUR Tsuen Wan I, simply take the lift to the 20th floor. If you are driving, parking is available at the KOLOUR Tsuen Wan I car park or the Tsuen Wan New Territories car park.

Kwai Fong is two MTR stops away (about five minutes), Kwai Hing is three stops (about eight minutes), Tsing Yi residents can transfer at Tsuen Wan station or take a bus (about 15 minutes), Tai Wo Hau is one stop away (about three minutes), and Sham Tseng is reachable by minibus or bus in around 15 minutes. Yes, absolutely. We offer appointments Monday to Friday from 10:00–13:00 and 14:15–19:00, making it convenient for professionals working in Tsuen Wan, Kwai Fong, and Tsing Yi to pop in during their lunch break or after work. We also have appointments available on Saturdays, Sundays, and selected public holidays (10:00–13:00 and 14:15–18:00). Each appointment is given plenty of time, so delays are kept to a minimum.

Home Dental Centre (Tsuen Wan Clinic) will first carry out a clinical examination and X-ray assessment, then provide a written treatment plan and itemised fee schedule clearly listing the cost of each stage. The initial general consultation fee is $180 (excluding X-rays, CT scans, and medication); if you decide to proceed with treatment, the consultation fee will be offset against your treatment costs. For cases involving dental sedation, the Day Procedure Centre will provide a separate quotation for anaesthesia and operating theatre fees. If referral to a private hospital for general anaesthesia is required, the hospital will provide its fees to you directly.
